‘Wanted - 1 very big, strong, moody, sweaty, smelly, angry, 12yr old ‘ Must be ‘dead ard’ , be able to run through brick walls, capable of obliterating rucks & carrying ball deep into enemy territory.

Rewards-The ability to consume your own body weight in sausage & chips, Harribos & coke floats (kids don’t try this at home).
Relocation package considered if moving from the zoo of Chester or the safari park of Knowsley. Happy to chain him (or her) to the club gates and feed them on a staple diet of Wirral, Caldy and Ellesmere Port scraps .
Benefits- Include getting to ‘hang’ with the coolest 12yr old rugby dudes on the planet…
Please send cv via BBM ,text, facebook or other media source I am unable to access.

The latest U12s rugby trend instead of a nice new top saying Coach, or medical bag to make you look all important, appears to be bagging yourself a big physical ‘go to’ player. Wilmslow have their very own Richie McCaw ,Wirral have bought Vando’s big brother and now today Crewe sported their very own missing link to humanity complete with neck chain and knuckles scraping in the dirt.. Well to keep up with the Jones’s I want one to compliment my nice guys!!!!!
Saint U12s are the nicest most well behaved and well mannered young men imaginable and I remain steadfastly proud of the way they conduct themselves both on and off the pitch, but rugby is about all shapes and sizes and a physical giant specimen wouldn’t go amiss ..
Unfortunately this week Saints arrived without our very own David Beckham who was playing round ball in the park with Macca,Dava, Wava + Shaza, square it on me ed mate and our enigmatic forward talisman who was playing toilet Russian Roulette ,roll the dice and guess which end will shoot into the pan.. But not to worry because today Saints were up for it and meant business.
Crewe are a strong physical squad who rucked strongly in numbers and were able to launch their willing runners into our midfield, only to be thwarted by a steadfast resolute Saints defence who tackled well above their weight and countered regularly from all over the park. It was from one such breakdown on our own 22 that RAsh found BO’co with a sublime pop to allow him to take off on a fantastic run that saw him go over for the opening try, comfortably converted by HaMee.Half time 7-0. The second half saw Crewe exert plenty of pressure on the Saints defence and it was only a matter of time before their Big’n scored a good try equalling the game at 7-7 and that was how it remained for the rest of the game.
Following this it was agreed that we would play a development game to ensure all boys got match time , but as we became thin on the ground in comparison, with all the walking wounded we were glad to hear the final whistle each team scored a further 2 tries but Crewe managed to convert both of theirs bringing the score to 14-12 in the home teams favour.
Man of the match this week went to Kimpo for a pick up from the scrum 10mtrs out went blind, a dummy, a swerve and showing strength to get over the line , and as every hr goes by that pick up grows a further metre(like father like son)..
Thanks to Andy and Damian from Crewe and to all the parents for making the effort to get there.
2 weeks today we play Congleton in the semi and today was a great game as we build towards this , more training on Thursday at 6pm followed by Ruthin at home next Sunday who will give us another physical examination , I love rugby I do ………..
(Please note no children have been harmed in the making of this report, and no offence meant in categorising opposition players)…
