Saints' Director of Rugby, Jamie Kimpton, today announced that he has secured his first new signing of the 2020-2021 season.

Chris Malkin, MSc Sport & Exercise Physiotherapy, BSc (Hons), MCSP, HCPCSc, joins the first team squad management as team physiotherapist.

An old boy of St Anselm's College, Chris was part of the Saints Team to win the Floodlit Cup at Birkenhead Park in the mid-80's. But, of course, he is better known as a professional footballer and Tranmere Rovers Legend.

He returned to Saints to coach the Minis and Juniors between 2014 & 2017.

A professional physiotherapist specialising in sports injuries and exercise, Chris has a thriving practice in Heswall.

Chris will also add greatly to the rugby support team with his knowledge of the game as well as his professional skills. He joins us after spells with The Wirral Club and Caldy.
