Saints Director of Rugby, Jamie Kimpton, announced yesterday that assistant player-coach (and arguably the club's best player) Liam Sadler is to be the Club Captain for next season.

On his appointment Liam said, "It is a great honour to be made captain at such an historic time for the Club. It will be an incredible experience leading the team out from the brand new clubhouse onto the fantastic new pitch for the first time in front of what is sure to be a massive crowd for the first game at the new Malone Field"

We all hope that Covid-19 will not interfere with the start of the new season and the celebrations for the opening of the club's new facilities.

Liam is joined on the management team by Will Grabe as his Vice-Captain. Will has made such a big impact on the squad since he joined us from Birkenhead School during our promotion-winning season, 2017-2018. He has a maturity beyond his years and commands the respect of all his peers.

The management team is completed by Chris Malkin, physio, whose appointment was announced here recently, Jamie Kimpton and Steve Pilgrim, who remain as co-DoRs and the irrepressible Andy O'Conner who stays on as Team Manager.
