Fitness / conditioning:
Several players are already training on Tuesday evenings, 8pm-9pm, at “The Zone” on Clayhill Industrial Estate, Neston. This will be the official pre-season conditioning training venue for all players who are to be advised and encouraged to attend.

Club Training Sessions:
Will commence on Thursday 2 July at 7pm at The Ridings, Noctorum, and each Thursday throughout July. From 6 August, Thursday sessions will continue at the Club.
Every Thursday from 6 August will be a “Club Night” for all players, volunteers and supporters, with the bar open and food available. Throughout the season, free food will be laid on for all those fully paid-up members training.

Players meeting:
We will hold a seniors players’ meeting after training at the Ridings, Thursday 2 July.

Warm-up matches:
We will endeavour to arrange 2 warm up matches versus Mold, Ruthin or Flint.
Additionally, the Cheshire Cup 1st round game will be used as the 3rd warm-up game.

Pre-season BBQ:
There will be a BBQ after the 1st Warm-up game for all players / management / supporters – details to be confirmed.

Touch Rugby Tournament:
We propose to organise a whole club (seniors, minis, juniors, colts, women, management, supporters) touch rugby tournament at the Club on Saturday 11 July. Everyone will be encouraged to attend and confirm via each team management.

WAGS:
We will organise ladies’ lunches on the first and last home games of the season.

Pre-match / sponsored lunches:
Players will be selected to say a few words to guests at pre-match lunches.
Post-match:
For all teams, we will re-introduce “man of the match” and “T of the match” awards after each game, with appropriate speeches.

Curtain-Raisers:
We will endeavour to hold mini / junior matches prior to home games as often as possible.

2nd Team:
The 2’s will be renamed the “Crusaders” and consideration given to a new kit with the new name and logo.

“Crusaders” Management:
We urgently need volunteers for team manager and captain

“Crusaders” Players:
We are desperately short of players for the “Crusaders” and we need a serious recruitment programme. Additionally, 1st team players will be expected to be available to make up numbers when there is no 1st team fixture.

Playing Strip:
A new kit to be bought for the 1st team in time for the opening fixture.

Subscriptions:
All players are expected to pay their subs. There will be a weekly match fee of £5.00 for all senior players until their subs are paid.

Coaching / Mentoring:
1st team squad players will be expected to give up at least 1 Sunday morning to assist mini / junior coaches
Expenses:
Any playing expenditure must be claimed on the expenses form which can be downloaded from the website and signed off by the relevant team manager and DOR.
